Stop whatever you’re doing immediately and pay attention.
Last night Rihanna hosted her inaugural Diamond Ball in support of the Clara Lionel Foundation that she founded, where thousands ‘pon thousands of dollars were raised to fund the charity’s goals of improving the quality of health and education services globally.
The Instagram Empress took to the stage during the night and #blessed the room of philanthropists (and the Kardashians) with a short set of some of her greatest hits as a special thank you for attending and investing in the charity. So, naturally, she performed Diamonds, Stay, Umbrella, Take A Bow… and Pour It Up.
You know, the one about “strip clubs and dollar bills.” Performed in a black ballgown and slicked back ponytail, with an orchestra backing her as she belted out “So who cares about what I spend? My pockets deep and they never end.”
Please stop tormenting us and release the album already, Rih.
