Beyoncé Talks Fans Through “BEYONCÉ”; Defends “Bow Down, Bitches”

BEY

After giving her fans five days to recover from the release of her surprise album ‘BEYONCÉBeyoncé took to iTunes Radio to introduce the album and explain the meaning of every song and video.

For the most part, the 32-year-old explains the lyricism of the 14 songs and behind-the-scenes information about their accompanying videos but the highlight of her narration comes when she gets to explain ‘Bow Down‘ – the controversial intro to ‘***Flawless‘ that was released earlier this year. The singer explains that the aggressive song came at a time she felt the need to defend herself – upon its release, ‘Bow Down‘ received criticism for being “anti-feminist” and for going against Beyoncé’s feministic ways.

Anyone that says “oh, that is disrespectful” just imagine the person that hates you, or the person that doesn’t believe in you, and look in the mirror and say “Bow down, bitch” and I guarantee you’ll feel gangsta.

Another highlight is when Queen Bey reveals that ‘Yoncé‘ – one of the album’s best tracks – was birthed after Justin Timberlake came up with the beat messing around with some buckets, and The-Dream started singing the hook: ‘Yoncé all on his mouth like liquor‘.

BEYONCÉ‘ is available exclusively on iTunes now.
