2013’s Queen of Everything Trashy, Miley Cyrus, once again became the most talked-about artist of a music awards ceremony last night.
This time it was MTV’s Europe Music Awards, the only notable difference between them and the VMA’s is that it’s sometimes legal for pop stars to smoke marijuana onstage – which is exactly what our precious Miley did.
The Love Money Party singer briefly performed her summer hit We Can’t Stop to open the ceremony after she arrived via space shuttle and then gave a rather uneventful live rendition of her #1 hit Wrecking Ball. Then, just as the world thought she’d calmed down following the last few Molly-fuelled months, the ex-Disney starlet celebrated winning the prestigious “Best Video” gong for her sledgehammer-licking antics in Wrecking Ball by sparking up a blunt onstage.
The cringeworthy moment is one that was clearly pre-planned, and presumably thought to be executed as a “real O.G” moment that could have came from 2Pac or The Notorious B.I.G back in the day. Sigh.
However we would like to forget about everything mentioned in this post thus far as it’s Cyrus’ live antics that make us not want to support her, which is disappointing as she has announced the dates for the U.S leg of her upcoming world tour: the creatively-titled Bangerz Tour.
Just moments ago, Miley released a shambolic promo video for the said tour as tickets have been released this week (note the use of third single ‘SMS (Bangerz)‘ being used in the clip). Dates for the European leg of the tour are expected to be announced later this month, so keep it locked at FameuxKills to find out when…
