Bruce and Kris Jenner have separated after 22 years of marriage, it has been confirmed.
After years of speculated trouble and rumours of the couple splitting, the news has finally been made official by E! News.
The couple have said they are “living separately and we are much happier this way” in a statement to E!. The news is rather unsurprising as their tumultuous relationship has been well documented in recent years on their hit show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
In the show’s eighth season, we have watched as Bruce purchased a new “getaway” house away from the family home and the couple have fought over the power in their relationship.
Bruce has acted as stepfather to Kris’ four children Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and Rob for the last two decades and the couple have also raised their own two children Kendall and Kylie in their time together.
Despite their own troubles, Bruce and Kris have made it clear that the separation will not affect the family dynamic too much; saying “But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority.”
Earlier this week, 57-year-old Kris was spotted having dinner in Los Angeles with Britney Spears‘ ex-boyfriend Jason Trawick (42) so it’s a possibility that Ms. Jenner has already moved on. Watch this space…
