Britney Changes Countdown to One Hour Earlier / “Work Bitch” Co-written By Sebastian Ingrosso

With just 5 days to go until Britney Spears unleashes her new music upon the world, the singer has changed her website countdown so that it ends one hour earlier than planned.

Instead of ending at 2.30pm (GMT) on Tuesday, Sept. 17, the “All Eyes On Me” countdown will run out at 1.30pm. The timer is speculated to be counting down to the official announcement of the ‘Toxic‘ singer’s 2-year Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood as her website will unveil tour dates, package deals and details when the 30-day countdown comes to an end.

The first single from Britney’s eighth album will also be released on the 17th, as ‘Work Bitch‘ will be be available on iTunes just hours after its worldwide radio premiere. The track is expected to premiere on UK radio at 11pm. Britney will also perform ‘Work Bitch‘ on Good Morning America on Tuesday as part of the Vegas announcement – the show described Tuesday’s show as a “huge live Britney event”, so it is sure to be big.

Songwriter Anthony Preston already confirmed that Britney co-wrote ‘Work Bitch‘ but the singer confirmed the news in a new Instagram post today.

From the picture we can confirm that Britney co-wrote the single with Preston, and Sebastian Ingrosso – one-third of Swedish House Mafia. The Swedish DJ is said to have co-produced the track also, and a PopJustice insider has said that the song has similarities to the group’s hit ‘Greyhound‘ after hearing a 1-minute snippet of the song.

The pop icon filmed the song’s music video over the weekend with ‘Scream & Shout‘ director Ben Mor.
