Paris Hilton may have tried her hand at a singing career back in 2006 when she released her critically-panned eponymous debut album. However, seven years on – and not satisfied with her first attempt – the heiress is coming back with global domination in mind as she readies the release of her second album.
Earlier this year in May, it was revealed that Hilton had signed a record deal with Cash Money Records – home to the Young Money family of Nicki Minaj, Lil’ Wayne and Tyga. Hilton will release her second album under the label later this year, and is set to release its first single on October 1.
Announcing the news via Twitter, the ‘Stars Are Blind‘ vocalist told fans that her second album’s lead single ‘Good Time‘ will debut on October 1. The dance track features Lil’ Wayne, and its accompanying music video will premiere on the same date.
Although critics practically laughed in her face when she released ‘Paris‘ back in ’06, the album birthed one of the greatest pop singles of the noughties: ‘Nothing In This World‘. If you’ve never heard this legendary track before, then you should be very ashamed – but you can check it out below.
