Following her electric performance at last Sunday’s VMAs, Lady Gaga is busy rehearsing for her set at tomorrow’s iTunes festival in the UK.
The gig will be Gaga’s first time performing in the UK since last September, therefore it goes without saying that there’s a lot of pressure on the singer. She will open the festival tomorrow night at 9PM GMT with a live set where she will perform 7 new songs – including her new single ‘Applause‘ – in addition to her old material.
The 27-year-old has previewed 3 of the new songs by releasing rehearsal footage showing her performing with her dancers, minimal production and no props. In the videos we can see Gaga rehearsing ‘Swine‘, ‘MANiCURE‘ and ‘Sex Dreams‘ but the sound has been distorted so that fans are still surprised tomorrow night.
It has been confirmed that rappers Too $hort and Twista will make onstage appearances with Gaga tomorrow night as they feature on her upcoming third LP ‘ARPTOP‘. The singer has given fans attending her performance a strict dress code of seashells, seahorses and starfish.
Gaga’s performance – which she has dubbed ‘Swinefest‘ – will be streamed live on iTunes tomorrow night, here.
