The world may have fallen out with Miley Cyrus over the past week – myself included – but this news could change things dramatically.
For the past few months, pop fans and spectators around the world have been wondering who the mystery female collaboration on Miley‘s new album ‘Bangerz‘ is, and all has now been revealed.
The 20-year-old said on many occasions that it’s her “dream collaboration”, which led many to think it was Britney Spears – but all the signs also pointed to rapper Lil’ Kim. However, producer Sean Garrett has finally confirmed that the one and only Miss Spears collaborated with Miley on a track that will appear on ‘Bangerz‘.
The untitled track is produced by Garrett and Mike Will, with Garrett saying he wanted to make the “biggest record possible” for the duo. Britney previously worked with the producer on ‘Toy Soldier‘, which featured on her 2007 album ‘Blackout‘.
The producer revealed the news to Vibe.com when talking about Miley’s ‘Bangerz‘ – “It’s fun, exciting [music]. We got one with that Britney.” This is begging to be a single already, so let’s hope Miley’s team are smart and can resurrect this era following the urban-wannabe mess that took over the VMAs last weekend.
‘Bangerz‘ will be released in the UK on October 7.
