It’s been a while since we heard some new material from Tinie Tempah (besides his features with the likes of Calvin Harris and Rita Ora), but the day has finally arrived.
On Tuesday night, the UK rapper’s new single ‘Trampoline‘ premiered on Mistajam’s 1XTRA radio show. The track sees the rapper experimenting with the “trap” genre, and marks a slight departure from his lighter stuff we have heard previously. The track features 2 Chainz which means that the new single could become a worldwide hit for 24-year-old Tinie.
Diplo-produced track ‘Trampoline‘ is the lead single from the rapper’s forthcoming sophomore album ‘Demonstration‘, the follow-up to his 2010 debut ‘Disc-Overy‘ which spawned the hits ‘Pass Out‘, ‘Frisky‘ and ‘Written In The Stars‘. Tinie has said that he hopes to have the album released in September, and has promised that the record will be “worth the wait” as it’s been 3 years in the making.

‘Trampoline‘ is available to pre-order on UK iTunes here, and will be released on August 4.
