As you can probably tell by the sultry artwork, Spring Breakers sweetheart Selena Gomez is ready to re-introduce herself with her debut solo album ‘Stars Dance‘, set for release this July.
Following the release of the album’s first single ‘Come & Get It‘, Selena took over awards show season with performances at the Billboard Music Awards, Teen Choice Awards and many more. As the single keeps climbing the charts, currently sitting at #6 on the Billboard Hot 100, Selena premiered the album’s second single ‘Slow Down‘ just days ago.
Keen to build hype around her first solo release, the 20-year-old has unveiled the album tracklist for ‘Stars Dance‘ – which she has described as “a huge, fun dance record that I’m so proud of”. Check it out, below!
The standard edition of the album features 11 songs, with 2 extra tracks on the deluxe edition of the album – both co-written by Gomez, the only songs on the album to have her listed as a co-writer.
- ‘Slow Down‘
- ‘Stars Dance’
- ‘Like a Champion’
- ‘Come & Get It’
- ‘Forget Forever’
- ‘Save The Day’
- ‘Write Your Name’
- ‘Love Will Remember’
12. ‘Nobody Does It Like You’
13. ‘Music Feels Better’
If you were anything like us, you’re probably disappointed that the leaked track (about her ex-boo Justin Bieber) entitled ‘Rule The World‘ didn’t make the final cut. HOWEVER – look again, it seems that the track has been listed under a new alias of ‘Forget Forever‘ (Yay!).
‘Stars Dance‘ will be available from June 22 in the UK, and June 23 in the US. Pre-order on iTunes now and you’ll get the second single ‘Slow Down‘ immediately!
We are super stoked for Selena’s debut as we are yet to dislike one song, but what about you guys? Let us know!
