Beyoncé is currently six shows deep in her Mrs Carter Show world tour and, after performing her new single ‘Grown Woman‘ for the first time last night, it seems she is finally about to release the new material that her ever-faithful “Beyhive” have been craving.
This morning, the singer released the Jonas Åkerlund-directed commercial for her H&M summer campaign which features a brand new song entitled ‘Standing On The Sun‘.
‘Standing On The Sun‘ sounds much better than ‘Grown Woman‘, in my opinion. Sonically, it is less aggressive and self-proclaimed than ‘Grown‘ – which is good as that sound didn’t prove successful for Beyoncé in the past with ‘Run The World (Girls) – and it has the potential to become the perfect beach song for spring-summer if she releases it sooner rather than later.
In the commercial, Beyoncé dons some of the collection’s more daring outfits and bikinis as she flaunts her toned figure in separate shots of her with blonde and black hair. Check it out below….
As of yet, there is no word on the release of ‘Standing On The Sun‘ but it is expected to be released digitally by May 9.
