After several delays, Azealia Banks finally dropped her debut album’s lead single ‘Yung Rapunxel‘ this morning in an unexpected surprise to all.
The track – produced by Lil Internet – is very busy with its big production sometimes overpowering the rapper, who is somewhat distant yet prominent on the vocal front. Azealia experiments with the “screamo” genre on the track – making for an overwhelming listening experience, whilst the lyrics underwhelm.
