Larry Rudolph was the tour de force behind Britney Spears‘ rise to fame – and iconic 2008 comeback following her disastrous personal life breakdown – and is still a very prominent part of “Brand Britney” ensuring the starlet an extraordinary 7 #1 albums on Billboard.
Therefore, Larry’s experience in the music industry of managing one of the world’s biggest musical icons was no doubt an influence on Miley Cyrus‘ decision to hire him as her new manager.
The former Hannah Montana star has a lot in common with Miss Spears, as she has broken away from Disney’s good-girl act and is ready to take the musical world by storm without the shadow of her former alter-ego. Miley has been working with a smörgåsbord of producers for her fourth studio album, including two of Britney’s frequent collaborators Pharrell Williams (I’m A Slave 4 U) and Dr. Luke (Circus).
Miley’s yet-untitled album will be released this year under RCA Records, following her departure from Hollywood Records. Whilst she will now be managed by Larry, her mother Tish Cyrus will remain co-manager.
