Beyoncé clearly proved her worth with her halftime show at this year’s Superbowl as she sold out the entire UK leg of her upcoming Mrs Carter Show World Tour within minutes after they went on sale at 9.30am this morning.
My Twitter feed was flooded with devastated King B fans as ticket-selling site TicketMaster crashed as over 1 million fans attempted to purchase the high-demand tickets. This comes days after the If I Were A Boy songstress decided to add more dates to the UK leg as a result of the incredible demand shown in pre-sales.
The 11-date jaunt will begin in a mere 2 months on April 26 in Birmingham and will finish up in Manchester shortly after. With only her Superbowl gig supporting this tour thus far, its expected that the 31-year-old will drop her fifth solo album at the beginning of April with its lead single ‘Runway‘ rumoured to premiere within the next 2 weeks.
The power of Beyoncé truly is incredible as, despite being in the business for 16 years, she continues to grow (alongside her fan base and bank balance) with each and every project she takes on.
I’ll see you in London, Mrs Carter.
