Earlier today, Beyoncé Knowles arrived onstage at the Superbowl XLVII Conference to speak about her half-time show and before any of the reporters could speak to her the Diva singer asked the first question: “Would you guys mind standing?”
Then, at that moment as the reporters stood up for the vocal powerhouse, she began to belt out the US National Anthem acapella to showcase that she did not need to lip-sync at President Obama’s inauguration.
In typical Beyoncé fashion, the singer didn’t give much away about her upcoming performance that will be broadcast live around the world on Sunday. However, she did explain why she chose to lip-sync the national anthem last week and when asked about touring plans the entrepreuner revealed that she will be making an announcement after her extravagant Superbowl half-time show – hinting at tour dates being released.
The Crazy In Love songstress remained tight-lipped when asked whether she would be joined on-field by her Destiny’s Child members Kelly and Michelle, although I wouldn’t be expecting it. Also, Beyoncé revealed that she will be singing live on Sunday during her 12-minute-set.
Watch the singer’s interview at the press conference below, when Sasha Fierce came out to play. It was very endearing hearing Beyoncé speak about daughter Blue Ivy, mentioning her numerous times.
