Roc Nation’s #1 girl Rihanna has graced the cover of Rolling Stone magazine with her beauty once again.
This time round, in the March 2013 issue, the Diamonds diva opened up about her personal life and finally spoke about her rekindled romance with former beau Chris Brown.
Following their domestic spat in February 2009, Rihanna – real name, Robyn Fenty – and Brown began dating again in summer 2012 sending world media into a frenzy. Both singers have remained coy about the relationship’s status in recent months, with Fenty still denying that the pair were an item just 2 months ago during a promotional interview for her seventh album Unapologetic.
However, Rihanna speaks candidly to Rolling Stone about her silence on the pair’s romance, in the March issue, stating: “”I decided it was more important for me to be happy”.

“I wasn’t going to let anybody’s opinion get in the way of that. Even if it’s a mistake, it’s my mistake. After being tormented for so many years, being angry and dark, I’d rather just live my truth and take the backlash. I can handle it.”
In her latest cover story, the Stay singer continues discussing the topic for the first time in depth in years, she admits that she understands that her fans, peers and critics may fear for her but she’s adamant to express that nobody needs to worry about her the second time around.
“He doesn’t have the luxury of fucking up again. That’s just not an option. I can’t say that nothing else will ever go wrong. But I’m pretty solid in the knowing that he’s disgusted by that. And I wouldn’t have gone this far if I ever thought that was a possibility.”
As she prepares to return to touring life with her fourth world tour in March, her headlining Diamonds World Tour, Rihanna is finally speaking on the topic in a mature and dignified manner that will surely win the admiration of many. This is a very brave move of the singer, as the couple’s turbulent relationship will remain as one of the most controversial pop culture topics of our time. Although, even her biggest critics can only respect what the singer is saying.
“When you add up the pieces from the outside, it’s not the cutest puzzle in the world, but it’s different now. We don’t have those types of arguments anymore. We talk about shit. We value each other. We know exactly what we have now, and we don’t want to lose that.”
