The late Aaliyah’s musical legacy is a testament to what Timbaland can create with Missy Elliot, and it seems that the magic is returning in 2013.
The Party Anthem features Young Money mogul Lil Wayne and AutoTune master T-Pain. The song seems to have came out of nowhere, and it’s not very clear what the “anthem” is leading up to, but I’m assuming that it’s a buzz single for Missy Elliot’s return to the music scene following her lengthy 8-year hiatus.
Missy Elliot will release her seventh solo album, the follow-up to 2005′s The Cookbook, this year.
